Restrictions Nassau & Suffolk Counties, may drive between 5 a.m. and 9 p.m. only accompanied by properly licensed parent, guardian, driver education teacher or driving school instructor. May not drive between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. under any circumstances. Upstate (in all other counties), may drive between 5 a.m. and 9 p.m. only accompanied by a properly licensed driver age 18 or older. From 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., must be accompanied by properly licensed parent or guardian, driver education teacher or driving school instructor. |
