Crescent Driving School FAQ’s
Is Crescent Driving School a licensed driving school in California?
Just because a driving school appears on our directory of driver training institutions, we cannot guarantee that they are fully licensed to offer driver training courses in California.  We highly recommend that you contact Crescent Driving School directly or the California DMV to find out for sure if Crescent Driving School offers hands-on driving courses that have been approved by the State of California.
Will the California DMV allow my parents to supervise my driving practice instead of requiring me to take a behind-the-wheel training course at a state-approved driving school?
Possibly.  Some states will allow your parents to supervise your driving practice in place of taking a behind-the-wheel driving course with a professional driving instructor.  You will need to contact the California DMV to find out if your behind-the-wheel driving may be done by your parents in California.
What if I don't know how to operate a vehicle with a stick-shift? Does Crescent Driving School have an automatic-shift vehicle they'll let me train with?
Since you're just learning how to drive, you probably don't know how to operate either a stick-shift or an automatic-shift vehicle!  However, if you have a preference as to a manual or an automatic, you probably should call Crescent Driving School to see if they can accommodate your request prior to your signing up to take their driver training course.
The area in which I live is mostly undeveloped--very few paved roads and mountains are all around. Will Crescent Driving School be able to teach me how to drive safely on rugged terrain as well as in a city or town?
Considering that you live in a rural area, chances are excellent that a local driving school like Crescent Driving School will want you to be able to drive safely on unpaved roads and other types of rugged terrain.  You may wish to contact Crescent Driving School to find out exactly what their behind-the-wheel training course includes before registering for their training course.
Now that I'm 14, will California allow me to get an instruction permit to drive?
Not likely.  Most states require residents to be at least 15 or 15 1/2 years old before applying for an instruction permit.  We recommend that your contact the California DMV office or a California-approved driver training institute such as Crescent Driving School to learn more about the minimum driving age requirement in California.
Is taking a drivers education course in a classroom or online sufficient in Anaheim California or do I also have to register for a behind-the-wheel training class with a professional driving instructor?
It depends on what the California's laws require, but many states do mandate that new, young drivers to successfully complete a driver training class with a professional driving instructor as well as a drivers education classroom or online course.
I have to take a drivers education course in Anaheim California. Can I meet this requirement by signing up with Crescent Driving School?
Yes, Crescent Driving School offers behind-the-wheel training courses in Anaheim California.  You will need to contact Crescent Driving School directly to get more information on the types of courses they offer and when to sign up for a class.
Do I have to take drivers education to get a California driver's license?
Drivers education requirements vary depending on which state you live in, but you should be aware that most states require new, teen-aged drivers to sign up to take both a driver training course in addition to a safe driving classroom or online course.  You may wish to contact the California DMV to find out exactly what requirements you will need to meet in order to obtain your first driver's license.
Am I obligated to take a Anaheim California driver training course?
All drivers in California are required to take a driver training course.  You should contact Crescent Driving School to learn more about the courses they offer.
Is it possible to sign up to take a California-certified behind-the-wheel training course before I obtain my California learners permit?
It depends on what the specific laws are in California, however most states require first-time drivers to receive a learners permit before signing up for a behind-the-wheel training course.  We recommend you contact a driving school such as Crescent Driving School to obtain more information.
