Ronnie's Traffic School FAQ’s
Are all the driving schools listed on your website fully-accredited by the California DMV to offer behind-the-wheel training courses in California?
The driving school directory on our website is for your convenience only, and we cannot absolutely guarantee that every driving school listed is currently accredited to offer driving training courses in California.  We suggest you contact the California DMV to make sure a particular driving school is licensed before you enroll in their driving course.
Do I have to take a driver training course? Can't my parents just give me my behind-the-wheel training?
There are some states that do allow parents or guardians to provide their teen-aged kids' required behind-the-wheel training in order to obtain a driver's license.  However many states do not allow any type of substitution for enrolling in a professionally-taught driver training course.  We suggest you contact your state's DMV to find out what the laws are in your state regarding hands-on driving instruction.
What if I don't know how to operate a manual-shift automobile? Does Ronnie's Traffic School have automatic-shift vehicles that I can drive when I do my behind-the-wheel training?
If you're taking a Inglewood California behind-the-wheel training class, chances are you don't know how to drive ANY vehicle yet-- manual or automatic.  However, if you prefer an automatic vehicle then you should tell Ronnie's Traffic School that prior to enrolling in the course in order to make sure they can accommodate you.
Since I live way out in a rural area where driving on dirt roads and bumpy terrain is the norm, will Ronnie's Traffic School be able to teach me how to drive in a rural environment? Or do they only prepare you for city-driving?
Since you live in a remote location, odds are that any local driving school in your area such as Ronnie's Traffic School will want you to be able to drive safely on dirt roads and bumpy terrain.  We recommend that you contact Ronnie's Traffic School directly to find out exactly what they offer.
I just turned 14 years old. Am I eligible to receive my learner's permit in California?
Probably not.  The minimum age requirement for holding a learners permit in most states is 15 1/2.  You should contact the California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) or a licensed driving school such as Ronnie's Traffic School to find out more information about the minimum age requirement in California.
Is taking a drivers education course in a classroom or online sufficient in Inglewood California or do I also have to successfully complete a behind-the-wheel training class with a professional driving instructor?
It depends on what the California's laws require, but many states do mandate that new, young drivers to take a driver training class with a professional driving instructor as well as a drivers education classroom or online course.
California law says that I must enroll in a behind-the-wheel training course in order to get licensed to drive in Inglewood California. Is this something that Ronnie's Traffic School can help me with?
Yes, Ronnie's Traffic School offers the California-approved behind-the-wheel training course.  For more information about their classes and instruction schedule, please contact Ronnie's Traffic School directly.
What type of driver ed do I need before California will give me a driver's license?
Each state has its own requirements concerning drivers education, although you should know that most states now mandate all new, young drivers to sign up to take a safe driving classroom or online course as well as a behind-the-wheel training course.  Ronnie's Traffic School may be able to help you meet the behind-the-wheel training requirement in California.  Please contact either Ronnie's Traffic School or the California DMV for more information.
Am I required to take a Inglewood California driver training course?
