GEORGIA  DRIVER’S EDUCATION

Summary of Georgia Graduated Licensing Law

Georgia has a two stage licensing process for minors.
  1. Learner’s License (at least age 15) We recommend our DriverEdToGo Video-to use during the Permit stage. Shows the parent how to teach collision-free driving habits and provides unique teaching tools (mirrors, checklists, videos, audio instruction series, etc.).
  2. Regular License (age 18 or age 16 if has held Permit/License for one year and provides documentation of 40 hours supervised practice or high school or commercial driver education and 20 hours supervised practice.).
