Under age 18 will be required to show completion of Alcohol and Drug Awareness course before they are issued a driver’s license. Course taught in the Georgia State School System. |

All applicants under the age of 18 must provide proof that either he/she is currently enrolled in school, has parent’s permission to withdraw from school, or has received a GED, a high school diploma, or completed high school, and have held an instructional permit or license or combination thereof, for one full year. Proof of 40 hours supervised practice or 20 hours supervised practice and high school or commercial driver education course must be provided for applicants under the age of 18. |
