E-Z Driving School, Inc. FAQ’s
Can you tell me if E-Z Driving School, Inc. is a licensed driving school in Missouri?
Although E-Z Driving School, Inc. is listed on our list of driving schools in your area, we are unable to say with certainty as to whether they are currently certified to teach driver training courses in Missouri.  We recommend either calling E-Z Driving School, Inc. directly or the Missouri DMV to find out whether or not E-Z Driving School, Inc. offers driver training courses that are state-approved.
Somebody told me that I can skip out of attending a driver training school if my parents give me behind-the-wheel training instead. Is that permissible in Missouri?
Each state has its own laws regarding behind-the-wheel training.  Some states will allow parentally-supervised behind-the-wheel training as a substitute for enrolling in a behind-the-wheel training course which is taught by a professional driving instructor.  However, not all states allow this.  You should contact the Missouri DMV to find out for sure.
I don't know how to drive using a stick-shift. Will E-Z Driving School, Inc. have an automatic-shift car available that I can use for my driver training?
Since you're enrolling in a St. Louis Missouri behind-the-wheel training class, chances are good that you don't know how to drive either a stick-shift OR an automatic!  However, you should let E-Z Driving School, Inc. know what your preference is before signing up to take their behind-the-wheel class.  That way you'll know for sure they will accommodate you.
I live in a rural area, that has a lot of dirt roads and bumpy terrain. Will E-Z Driving School, Inc. train me how to drive in BOTH city AND rural environments?
If you live in a rural area, chances are very good that a local driver training school like E-Z Driving School, Inc. will want you to be taught how to drive safely on the local area's terrain.
Are 14-year-olds eligible to obtain a instruction permit in Missouri?
Although a few states allow teen-agers to begin practicing how to drive at 14, most states have set the minimum age for which to hold a learner's permit at either 15 or 15½.  You will need to contact the Missouri Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) or a certified driving instruction company like E-Z Driving School, Inc. to find out what the minimum age for driving is in Missouri.
Do I have to take a St. Louis Missouri classroom or online drivers education course before I can enroll in a driver training course through E-Z Driving School, Inc.?
This requirement varies by state but most states do require pre-licensed drivers to take BOTH a classroom-based defensive driving course (generally 30 hours in length) AND a driver training course.  You should ask E-Z Driving School, Inc. if they offer one or both programs.
I'm required to take a driver training course in St. Louis Missouri. Do you know if E-Z Driving School, Inc. offers defensive driving classes in St. Louis Missouri?
Yes, E-Z Driving School, Inc. does offer behind-the-wheel training courses in St. Louis Missouri.  For more information about their class schedule and how/when to sign up for one of their defensive driving courses, please contact E-Z Driving School, Inc. directly.
Exactly what type of driver training do I need in St. Louis Missouri before I can get my Missouri driver's license?
The prerequisites for getting a driver's licenses vary from state to state, however most states now require teen-agers who are looking to get their first driver's license to enroll in a drivers education classroom course as well as a driver training course.  We suggest that you contact a local driver training company such as E-Z Driving School, Inc. and ask if they offer a Missouri-approved  behind-the-wheel training course which would meet Missouri's driver's education requirements.
What does the law in Missouri say about driver training courses? Do I have to take one to get my driver's license?
Yes, you do.  Missouri law states that new drivers successfully complete an approved driver training course as a prerequisite to getting their first driver's license.
Will Missouri allow me to register for a behind-the-wheel training course before I actually get my learner's permit?
You will need to contact your state's DMV office to find out.  However, most states require that you receive your instruction permit before you register with a behind-the-wheel training course.
