All Star Driving School FAQ’s
Is All Star Driving School a certified driving school in California?
Just because a driving school appears on our directory of driver training institutions, we cannot guarantee that they are fully licensed to offer driver training courses in California.  We highly recommend that you contact All Star Driving School directly or the California DMV to find out for sure if All Star Driving School offers behind-the-wheel training courses that have been approved by the State of California.
I've been told that either of my parents can supervise my driver training, so I don't have to attend a Rancho Cucamonga California driving school like All Star Driving School to fulfill my driver training requirement. Do you know if that's true or not?
You will need to contact the California DMV or a state-approved driver training school like All Star Driving School to find out.  Some states do allow parent-taught driving, but many states do not.
I have no clue how to drive a stick-shift vehicle. What happens if All Star Driving School makes me train on a manual-shift vehicle?
Considering the fact you are a brand new driver, you probably don't know much about operating ANY type of vehicle....manual OR automatic!  If you prefer to do your behind-the-wheel training with an automatic-shift vehicle, you may want to call All Star Driving School and let them know before you sign up to take their driver training course.  That way you'll know for certain whether All Star Driving School can accommodate you before you pay them any money.
I live in a rural area, that has a lot of dirt roads and bumpy terrain. Will All Star Driving School train me how to drive in BOTH city AND rural environments?
If you live in a rural area, chances are very good that a local driver training school like All Star Driving School will want you to be taught how to drive safely on the local area's terrain.
After I turn 14, will I be eligible to obtain my learner's permit so I can begin to learn how to drive?
It depends on which state you live in, however most states unfortunately require you to be at least 15 (or sometimes 15 1/2) before you can be issued a learner's permit.  We suggest that you contact a local driver training school such as All Star Driving School or the California DMV office to learn more about the minimum age requirement for driving in California.
Will I be required to sign up for both a drivers education classroom or online course and a behind-the-wheel training course in Rancho Cucamonga California?
It depends on which state you live in, but many states now mandate new teen-aged drivers to successfully complete both a drivers education course as well as a behind-the-wheel training course.
I have to take a defensive driving course in Rancho Cucamonga California. Can I meet this requirement by registering with All Star Driving School?
Yes, All Star Driving School offers defensive driving courses in Rancho Cucamonga California.  You will need to contact All Star Driving School directly to get more information on the types of courses they offer and when to sign up for a class.
I live in Rancho Cucamonga California. What are the requirements for me to be able to get my first California driver's license?
It depends on the particular laws of California, but most states require teen-aged first-time license applicants to successfully complete both a drivers education classroom course and a driver training course.  All Star Driving School may offer courses which would meet the behind-the-wheel training requirement, however you will need to contact them directly to find out exactly what types of courses they offer.
I live in Rancho Cucamonga California and would like to apply for my first driver's license. Do I need to take a driver training course before I can be licensed?
California law mandates that all new drivers successfully complete an approved behind-the-wheel training program before receiving their California driver's license.  All Star Driving School may offer a driver training course that you are looking for.  Please contact All Star Driving School directly for complete information as to what types of driver training courses they offer.
Do I need to have my learner's permit before I register for a driver training course like the one that All Star Driving School offers?
You will need to contact All Star Driving School or the California DMV to find out if you are allowed to enroll in a driving school like All Star Driving School before receiving your California learner's permit.
