Minimum Required Amount of Supervised Driving Learners Permit Holders must log 20 hours, including 2 at night; Intermediate License Holders must log 10 hours, including 2 at night
Minimum Age for Driver License 16 years
Road Test Yes
Unsupervised Driving Rules Intermediate license holders may not drive between 12:30 a.m. and 5 a.m. unless accompanied by a licensed adult driver who's at least 25. With a waiver, you may drive unsupervised during these hours if communting to and from work or school
Passenger Rules Passengers are allowed to ride with learners permit holders if there are enough seat belts for in vehicle. A licensed, 25-year-old supervising driver must be seated in the front passenger seat
Other Driver education is a requirement for applicants under 18.
