Yes, but there's a limit.  If you are 16 or 17 years old and have only had an Alabama drivers license for less than 6 months, you can have no more than 3 passengers in the vehicle (not including your parent or legal guardian).
Can I drive alone with my Alabama learners permit?
ABSOLUTELY NOT.  With a learners permit, you MUST be accompanied by a licensed Alabama driver of at least 21 years of age in the front passenger seat whenever you drive. After you turn 16, you may drive with any Alabama licensed driver occupying the front passenger seat if you still have a learners permit.
