How old do I have to be to take my Nevada learners permit test?
You will need to be at least 15 years and 6 months old to be able to take
the Nevada learners permit exam. 
How old do I have to be to get my Nevada drivers license?
Once you have obtained your Nevada learners permit, you will have to wait until your 16th birthday before being able to obtain your Nevada drivers license.  You must also have held your Nevada learners permit for at least six (6) months and had no at-fault traffic citations during that time period.
What paperwork does the Nevada DMV need before I can learn to drive a car?
When you go to a Nevada DMV location to take the exam, bring with you proof of your Nevada residency (such as a piece of mail addressed to you) and proof of identify such as a birth certificate.  You will also need to give the Nevada DMV proof of your social security number.

The Nevada DMV will also require you to fill out two forms.  The first is an application for your learners permit, and the second is an affidavit verifying your personal information, called a DLD-38.  These forms must be notarized so you should ask your parents how to go about getting that done.  Also, you will need to have your parents sign a financial responsibility statement and submit it to the Nevada DMV along with your application.
What if I don’t pass the Nevada learners permit exam? How many times can I take the test?
If you have taken the Teen Driving Course Nevada online driver education class, you likely won't have trouble passing your Nevada learners permit or drivers license examinations.  Chances are you will ace them your first try! 

However, if you don't pass your drivers test the first time, it's okay.  The Nevada DMV will allow you to retake the exam until you pass, but you may have to wait a day before returning to re-take it.
How many questions are on the Nevada online drivers education final exam at the end of this course?
Teen Driving Course's final exam given at the end of its Nebraska online driving education class 50 multiple-choice questions.  You must answer 80% of them correctly in order to pass.  If you don't pass the first time, don't worry.  You can retake the test as many times as you need to at no additional cost until you get an 80% or above.
Does your course meet all Nevada DMV requirements?

How long until I receive my Nevada online drivers education certificate of completion?
When you register for the Teen Driving Course online driver education class, you will choose whether you want your certificate of completion to be delivered by regular mail (USPS) or with FedEx, which offers 3rd Day, 2nd Day, or Overnight Delivery.
I have completed the Teen Driving Course Nevada drivers education class. Can I start driving now?
You can begin driving once as soon as you are issued your Nevada learners permit.  You cannot drive alone, however.  You must be accompanied by a licensed driver, 21 years or older, who has more than one year of driving experience and that person must be seated in the front passenger seat next to you whenever you drive.
How long do I need to have my Nevada learners permit before I can get my Nevada drivers license?
To get a Nevada drivers license, you must be sixteen (16) years old, complete fifty (50) hours of supervised driving and provide the Nevada DMV with documentation of your practice, signed by a parent or legal guardian.
Does the Nevada DMV require me to have behind-the-wheel training before getting my Nevada drivers license?
Yes.  You will need to log 50 hours of supervised driving before taking your Nevada drivers license exam.  10 of these hours must be at night.  The Nevada DMV also requires you to do this in addition to taking drivers education classes like the Teen Driving Course Nevada online drivers education class. 

If for some reason you are unable to take a drivers education class in person or online, the Nevada DMV will require 100 hours of driving practice, including 10 hours of night time driving.
Can my friends ride with me after I get my Nevada learners permit or drivers license?
No.  With a learners permit, you can only drive with a licensed Nevada driver who is 21 years old.  When you receive your Nevada drivers license, during the first six (6) months you will not be able to drive with anyone under the age of 18 (unless they are family members).  After that six (6)-month period, you may begin driving with friends.
Can I drive alone with my Nevada learners permit or Nevada provisional license?
No!  Nevada state law prohibits you from driving on a Nevada learners permit without the supervision of a 21-year old licensed Nevada driver who has more than a year of driving experience.

If you have obtained your drivers license and are under 18, you may not drive at all between the hours of 10pm and 5am, unless you are driving to or from a scheduled event.
