All City Traffic Survival School FAQ’s
Since All City Traffic Survival School appears on your website, does this mean they are approved by the Arizona DMV to offer behind-the-wheel training courses?
The list of driving schools on our webpage is provided as a convenience to our customers only.  We CANNOT guarantee that every single school listed is fully-certified by the Arizona DMV.  You may want to call All City Traffic Survival School directly to find out if they offer a state-certified behind-the-wheel training course.
Somebody told me that I can skip out of attending a driver training school if my parents give me behind-the-wheel training instead. Is that permissible in Arizona?
Each state has its own laws regarding behind-the-wheel training.  Some states will allow parentally-supervised driver training as a substitute for attending a behind-the-wheel training course which is taught by a professional driving instructor.  However, not all states allow this.  You should contact the Arizona DMV to find out for sure.
Do I need to tell All City Traffic Survival School that I need to train with an automatic-shift car? I don't know how to drive a stick-shift vehicle.
Most new drivers don't know how to operate either a manual-shift OR and automatic-shift automobile!  We recommend that you ask All City Traffic Survival School if you can complete your driver training using an automatic-shift car before you sign up to take their driver training course.
The area in which I live is mostly undeveloped--very few paved roads and mountains are all around. Will All City Traffic Survival School be able to teach me how to drive safely on bumpy terrain as well as in a city or town?
Considering that you live in a rural area, chances are excellent that a local driving school like All City Traffic Survival School will want you to be able to drive safely on dirt roads and other types of rugged terrain.  You may wish to contact All City Traffic Survival School to find out exactly what their driver training course includes before signing up to take their training course.
If I'm 14, can I get a driver's permit to drive in Arizona?
Possibly.  However, you should be aware that most states require you to be at least 15½ years old before you can get a learner's permit.  We recommend that you contact the Arizona Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) or a licensed driving school such as All City Traffic Survival School to find out exactly what the minimum age requirement is in Arizona.
Do I have to complete a Tempe Arizona drivers education classroom course or online course before registering for one of All City Traffic Survival School's driver training courses?
Each state has its own laws, but most states will require first-time drivers to take both a driver training course plus either a defensive driving classroom course (which are about 30 hours in length) or an approved online drivers education course.  You may want to ask All City Traffic Survival School if they offer one or both programs.
I am looking to sign up to take a Tempe Arizona drivers education course. Can All City Traffic Survival School assist me with this?
Yes.  Drivers education courses are available in Tempe Arizona through All City Traffic Survival School.  Please contact All City Traffic Survival School directly with questions regarding their schedule of classes and registration information.
Do I have to take drivers education to get a Arizona driver's license?
Drivers education requirements vary depending on which state you live in, but you should be aware that most states require new, teen-aged drivers to register for both a behind-the-wheel training course in addition to a safe driving classroom or online course.  You may wish to contact the Arizona DMV to find out exactly what requirements you will need to meet in order to obtain your first driver's license.
Is there a law in Arizona that says I have to take behind-the-wheel training in order to get my driver's license?
Yes.  State law in Arizona mandates that all teen-agers successfully complete an approved driver training course before receiving a Arizona driver's license.
Will Arizona allow me to enroll in a driver training course before I actually receive my instruction permit?
You will need to contact your state's DMV office to find out.  However, most states require that you receive your learner's permit before you register with a driver training course.
