Zazoom Driving Center FAQ’s
Can you tell me if Zazoom Driving Center is a licensed driving school in Texas?
Although Zazoom Driving Center is listed on our list of driving schools in your area, we are unable to say with certainty as to whether they are currently certified to teach driver training courses in Texas.  We recommend either calling Zazoom Driving Center directly or the Texas DMV to find out whether or not Zazoom Driving Center offers hands-on driving courses that are state-approved.
Do I have to take a behind-the-wheel training course? Can't my parents just give me my driver training?
There are some states that do allow parents or guardians to provide their teen-aged kids' required driver training in order to obtain a driver's license.  However many states do not allow any type of substitution for enrolling in a professionally-taught behind-the-wheel training course.  We suggest you contact your state's DMV to find out what the laws are in your state regarding behind-the-wheel training.
I don't know how to drive using a stick-shift. Will Zazoom Driving Center have an automatic-shift car available that I can use for my behind-the-wheel training?
Since you're enrolling in a Brownwood Texas behind-the-wheel training class, chances are good that you don't know how to drive either a stick-shift OR an automatic!  However, you should let Zazoom Driving Center know what your preference is before signing up to take their behind-the-wheel class.  That way you'll know for sure they will accommodate you.
Since I live way out in the country where driving on dirt roads and rugged terrain is the norm, will Zazoom Driving Center be able to teach me how to drive in a non-urban environment? Or do they only prepare you for city-driving?
Since you live in a rural area, odds are that any local driving school in your area such as Zazoom Driving Center will want you to be able to drive safely on unpaved roads and bumpy terrain.  We recommend that you contact Zazoom Driving Center directly to find out exactly what they offer.
I just turned 14 years old. Can I receive my instruction permit in Texas?
Probably not.  The minimum age requirement for holding a learners permit in most states is 15 1/2.  You should contact the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) or a licensed driving school such as Zazoom Driving Center to find out more information about the minimum age requirement in Texas.
Do I have to take both a drivers education classroom course and a behind-the-wheel training course in Brownwood Texas to get my Texas driver's license?
The laws vary depending on which state you live in, but most states do require that pre-licensed drivers register for a defensive driving classroom course and a behind-the-wheel training course.  You may want to call a driving instruction company like Zazoom Driving Center and find out if they offer either (or both) of these programs.
Does Zazoom Driving Center provide a driver training course like the one that is required by the State of Texas? I need to sign up for one in order to obtain my driver license.
Zazoom Driving Center offers hands-on driver training courses which are approved by the Texas DMV.  You may want to contact Zazoom Driving Center directly for more information about their courses and how to go about signing up for one.
Do I have to take drivers education to get a Texas driver's license?
Drivers education requirements vary depending on which state you live in, but you should be aware that most states require new, teen-aged drivers to enroll in both a driver training course in addition to a safe driving classroom or online course.  You may wish to contact the Texas DMV to find out exactly what requirements you will need to satisfy in order to obtain your first driver's license.
Is there a law in Texas that says I have to take behind-the-wheel training in order to get my driver's license?
Yes.  State law in Texas requires that all teen-agers take an approved behind-the-wheel training course before receiving a Texas driver's license.
Do I need to have my learner's permit before I enroll in a behind-the-wheel training course like the one that Zazoom Driving Center offers?
You will need to contact Zazoom Driving Center or the Texas DMV to find out if you are allowed to register with a driving school like Zazoom Driving Center before receiving your Texas instruction permit.
