All American Driving School FAQ’s
All American Driving School is listed on your website as a driving school which offers driver training courses. How do I know if All American Driving School is a licensed school in Texas?
While we include a list of driving schools on our website for your convenience, we cannot guarantee that every single one of them is currently licensed by the Texas DMV.  We suggest you contact All American Driving School directly or the Texas DMV to find out if All American Driving School is a fully-accredited driving school.
Do you know if I can complete my behind-the-wheel training with my mother or father instead of attending a behind-the-wheel training course like the ones offered by All American Driving School?
Some states allow teen-agers to complete their behind-the-wheel training with their parents instead of attending a professional driving school.  We recommend that you contact the Texas DMV or All American Driving School directly to find out if Texas allows parent-taught driver training.
Do you know if All American Driving School will let me take my driver training using an automatic-shift vehicle? I don't know anything about using a stick-shift.
Considering you're a brand new driver, you probably don't know a whole lot about driving ANY type of vehicle, be it a stick OR an automatic!  Nevertheless, if you have a preference, you probably should contact All American Driving School and see if they can accommodate you before signing up to take their driver training course.
I live in a small rural community, where there are a lot of small, unpaved roads. Will my behind-the-wheel training with All American Driving School include learning how to drive in remote areas? Or do they just offer training for city driving?
Most local driving schools will likely want their students to know how to drive safely in the local area.  Therefore, chances are good that the driver training you receive from All American Driving School will include handling unpaved roads and mountain driving.
After I turn 14, will I be eligible to get my instruction permit so I can begin to learn how to drive?
It depends on which state you live in, however most states unfortunately require you to be at least 15 (or sometimes 15 1/2) before you can be issued a learner's permit.  We suggest that you contact a local driver training school such as All American Driving School or the Texas DMV office to learn more about the minimum age requirement for driving in Texas.
Do I have to complete a Garland Texas drivers education classroom course or online course before registering for one of All American Driving School's driver training courses?
Each state has its own rules, but most states will require first-time drivers to take both a behind-the-wheel training course plus either a drivers education classroom course (which are about 30 hours in length) or an approved online defensive driving course.  You may want to ask All American Driving School if they offer one or both programs.
I have to take a drivers education course in Garland Texas. Can I meet this requirement by registering with All American Driving School?
Yes, All American Driving School offers defensive driving courses in Garland Texas.  You will need to contact All American Driving School directly to get more information on the types of courses they offer and when to register for a class.
I live in Garland Texas. What requirements must I meet to be able to get my first Texas driver's license?
It depends on the particular laws of Texas, but most states require teen-aged first-time license applicants to successfully complete both a safe driving classroom course and a behind-the-wheel training course.  All American Driving School may offer courses which would fulfill the behind-the-wheel training requirement, however you will need to contact them directly to find out exactly what types of courses they offer.
Is there a law in Texas that says I have to take driver training in order to get my driver's license?
Yes.  State law in Texas requires that all teen-agers take an approved behind-the-wheel training course before receiving a Texas driver's license.
Is it all right if I sign up with a behind-the-wheel training school like All American Driving School prior to my obtaining my instruction permit?
In most states, you are required to have already received your learner's permit before you register for your behind-the-wheel training course like the one offered by All American Driving School.  We suggest you contact either All American Driving School to find out more information.
