Broussard Enterprise FAQ’s
How do I know if Broussard Enterprise is licensed by Texas's DMV to offer driver training courses?
While we do include Broussard Enterprise's contact information in our driving school directory, we cannot say with certainty as to whether Broussard Enterprise is licensed by the State of Texas.  We recommend that you either contact Broussard Enterprise directly or possibly the Texas DMV to find out if Broussard Enterprise is a certified driver training school.
Somebody told me that I can skip out of attending a driver training school if my parents give me behind-the-wheel training instead. Is that permissible in Texas?
Each state has its own rules regarding behind-the-wheel training.  Some states will allow parentally-supervised driver training as a substitute for attending a driver training course which is taught by a professional driving instructor.  However, not all states allow this.  You should contact the Texas DMV to find out for sure.
What if I don't know how to drive a vehicle with a stick-shift? Does Broussard Enterprise have an automatic-shift vehicle they'll let me train with?
Since you're just learning how to drive, you probably don't know how to operate either a stick-shift or an automatic-shift vehicle!  However, if you have a preference as to a stick or an automatic, you probably should call Broussard Enterprise to see if they can accommodate your request prior to your enrolling in their driver training course.
Since I live way out in the country where driving on unpaved roads and rugged terrain is the norm, will Broussard Enterprise be able to teach me how to drive in a rural environment? Or do they only prepare you for city-driving?
Since you live in a remote location, odds are that any local driving school in your area such as Broussard Enterprise will want you to be able to drive safely on dirt roads and bumpy terrain.  We recommend that you contact Broussard Enterprise directly to find out exactly what they offer.
After I turn 14, will I be eligible to obtain my instruction permit so I can begin to learn how to drive?
It depends on which state you live in, however most states unfortunately require you to be at least 15 (or sometimes 15 1/2) before you can be issued a instruction permit.  We suggest that you contact a local driver training school such as Broussard Enterprise or the Texas DMV office to learn more about the minimum age requirement for driving in Texas.
Do you know if the laws in Texas require new teen-aged drivers to take a behind-the-wheel training course in addition to a drivers education classroom or online course?
The laws vary from state to state, but many states do require you to register for a driver training course with "hands-on" practice in addition to a drivers education classroom or online course.
I have to take a drivers education course in Groves Texas. Can I meet this requirement by registering with Broussard Enterprise?
Yes, Broussard Enterprise offers drivers education courses in Groves Texas.  You will need to contact Broussard Enterprise directly to get more information on the types of courses they offer and when to register for a class.
What type of driver ed do I need before Texas will give me a driver's license?
Each state has its own requirements concerning drivers education, although you should know that most states now require all new, young drivers to complete a safe driving classroom or online course as well as a behind-the-wheel training course.  Broussard Enterprise may be able to help you meet the driver training requirement in Texas.  Please contact either Broussard Enterprise or the Texas DMV for more information.
Am I obligated to take a Groves Texas behind-the-wheel training course?
All drivers in Texas are required to take a behind-the-wheel training course.  You should contact Broussard Enterprise to learn more about the courses they offer.
Is it all right if I register with a behind-the-wheel training school like Broussard Enterprise prior to my obtaining my learner's permit?
In most states, you are required to have already gotten your instruction permit before you enroll in your driver training course like the one offered by Broussard Enterprise.  We suggest you contact either Broussard Enterprise to find out more information.
