Triangle Driving II FAQ’s
Is Triangle Driving II an approved driving school in Texas?
Just because a driving school appears on our directory of driver training institutions, we cannot guarantee that they are fully licensed to offer hands-on driving courses in Texas.  We highly recommend that you contact Triangle Driving II directly or the Texas DMV to find out for sure if Triangle Driving II offers hands-on driving courses that have been approved by the State of Texas.
Will the Texas DMV allow my parents to supervise my driving practice instead of requiring me to take a behind-the-wheel training course at a state-approved driving school?
Possibly.  Some states will allow your parents to supervise your driving practice as a substitute to taking a driver training course with a professional driving instructor.  You will need to contact the Texas DMV to find out if your driver training may be done by your parents in Texas.
I can't operate a manual-shift. Will Triangle Driving II allow me to do my behind-the-wheel training on an automatic-shift vehicle?
We recommend that you contact Triangle Driving II and ask them if you can do your behind-the-wheel training using a vehicle that has an automatic shift before registering for their driver training course.
What happens to those of us who live in a rural area? Will Triangle Driving II include instruction on how to drive on dirt roads, mountain roads, and other rugged?
If you live in a remote location, there is a high probability that a local driving school like Triangle Driving II will either want--or even be required--to tailor their instruction towards driving safely in your particular locale.
Now that I'm 14, will Texas allow me to get a learner's permit to drive?
Not likely.  Most states require residents to be at least 15 or 15 1/2 years old before applying for a learner's permit.  We recommend that your contact the Texas DMV office or a Texas-approved driver training institute such as Triangle Driving II to learn more about the minimum driving age requirement in Texas.
Am I required to take a Silsbee Texas classroom or online drivers education course before I can sign up to take a driver training course through Triangle Driving II?
This requirement varies by state but most states do mandate new teen-aged drivers to take BOTH a classroom-based driver education course (generally 30 hours in length) AND a driver training course.  You should ask Triangle Driving II if they offer one or both programs.
I am looking to register for a Silsbee Texas drivers education course. Can Triangle Driving II assist me with this?
Yes.  defensive driving courses are available in Silsbee Texas through Triangle Driving II.  Please contact Triangle Driving II directly with questions regarding their schedule of classes and registration information.
I live in Silsbee Texas. What are the requirements for me to be able to get my first Texas driver's license?
It depends on the particular laws of Texas, but most states require teen-aged first-time license applicants to successfully complete both a safe driving classroom course and a driver training course.  Triangle Driving II may offer courses which would meet the behind-the-wheel training requirement, however you will need to contact them directly to find out exactly what types of courses they offer.
Do I have to take a Silsbee Texas behind-the-wheel training course in order to get a driver's license?
Yes.  All drivers in Texas must successfully complete an approved driver training course in order to receive a driver's license.  Please contact Triangle Driving II for information on the types of behind-the-wheel training courses they offer in Silsbee Texas.
Is it all right if I sign up with a driver training school like Triangle Driving II prior to my obtaining my instruction permit?
In most states, you are required to have already gotten your instruction permit before you sign up to take your behind-the-wheel training course like the one offered by Triangle Driving II.  We suggest you contact either Triangle Driving II to find out more information.
