School Of Driving Inc FAQ’s
School of Driving Inc is listed on your website as a driving school which offers driver training courses. How do I know if School of Driving Inc is a licensed school in Wisconsin?
While we include a list of driver training schools on our website for your convenience, we cannot guarantee that every single one of them is currently licensed by the Wisconsin DMV.  We suggest you contact School of Driving Inc directly or the Wisconsin DMV to find out if School of Driving Inc is a fully-accredited driver training school.
Somebody told me that I can skip out of attending a driver training school if my parents give me behind-the-wheel training instead. Is that permissible in Wisconsin?
Each state has its own rules regarding driver training.  Some states will allow parentally-supervised behind-the-wheel training as a substitute for taking a behind-the-wheel training course which is taught by a professional driving instructor.  However, not all states allow this.  You should contact the Wisconsin DMV to find out for sure.
I have no clue how to drive a stick-shift vehicle. What happens if School of Driving Inc makes me train on a manual-shift vehicle?
Considering the fact you are a brand new driver, you probably don't know much about operating ANY type of vehicle....manual OR automatic!  If you prefer to do your behind-the-wheel training with an automatic-shift vehicle, you may want to call School of Driving Inc and let them know before you enroll in their behind-the-wheel training course.  That way you'll know for sure whether School of Driving Inc will be able to accommodate you before you pay them any money.
I live in a very rural area, where there are mountains and a lot of dirt roads. Do you know if School of Driving Inc offers training for driving in rural areas like where I live instead of just driving on smooth, paved roads in city areas?
Since you live in a rural area, a local driving school such as School of Driving Inc will tailor your behind-the-wheel training to handle the conditions in your area.
If I'm 14, can I get a driver's permit to drive in Wisconsin?
Possibly.  However, you should be aware that most states require you to be at least 15½ years old before you can get an instruction permit.  We recommend that you contact the Wisconsin Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) or a licensed driving school such as School of Driving Inc to find out exactly what the minimum age requirement is in Wisconsin.
Do I have to complete a New Richmond Wisconsin drivers education classroom course or online course before signing up to take one of School of Driving Inc's behind-the-wheel training courses?
Each state has its own rules, but most states will require first-time drivers to take both a driver training course plus either a defensive driving classroom course (which are about 30 hours in length) or an approved online defensive driving course.  You may want to ask School of Driving Inc if they offer one or both programs.
I'm required to take a defensive driving course in New Richmond Wisconsin. Do you know if School of Driving Inc offers behind-the-wheel training classes in New Richmond Wisconsin?
Yes, School of Driving Inc does offer driver training courses in New Richmond Wisconsin.  For more information about their class schedule and how/when to sign up for one of their driver training courses, please contact School of Driving Inc directly.
How do I obtain a drivers license in New Richmond Wisconsin?
In most states, pre-licensed teens are required to complete both a classroom safe driving course and a behind-the-wheel training course.  School of Driving Inc may be able to help you meet the behind-the-wheel training portion in Wisconsin.
Do I have to take a New Richmond Wisconsin behind-the-wheel training course in order to get a driver's license?
Yes.  All drivers in Wisconsin must enroll in an approved behind-the-wheel training course in order to be licensed to operate a motor vehicle.  Please contact School of Driving Inc for information on the types of behind-the-wheel training courses they offer in New Richmond Wisconsin.
Is it all right if I sign up with a behind-the-wheel training school like School of Driving Inc prior to my receiving my instruction permit?
In most states, you are required to have already received your learner's permit before you sign up to take your behind-the-wheel training course like the one offered by School of Driving Inc.  We suggest you contact either School of Driving Inc to find out more information.
