Amazonas Driving School FAQ’s
Is Amazonas Driving School certified by the Illinois DMV to offer driver training courses?
Although we include Amazonas Driving School in our directory of driving schools for Chicago Illinois, we cannot make any assurances about whether or not Amazonas Driving School is certified by the Illinois DMV.  You should contact Amazonas Driving School directly and ask them if you are thinking about registering for their Chicago Illinois behind-the-wheel training class.
I heard that parents can fill the role of driving supervisor in Illinois, so taking a Chicago driver training course like the one Amazonas Driving School offers is not necessary. Is that true?
You should contact the Illinois DMV or a licensed driver training school like Amazonas Driving School and ask them.  While parent-taught driving instruction is permitted in some states, many states do NOT allow it.
I don't know how to drive using a stick-shift. Will Amazonas Driving School have an automatic-shift car available that I can use for my driver training?
Since you're enrolling in a Chicago Illinois driver training class, chances are good that you don't know how to drive either a stick-shift OR an automatic!  However, you should let Amazonas Driving School know what your preference is before enrolling in their behind-the-wheel class.  That way you'll know for sure they will accommodate you.
I live in a rural area, that has a lot of dirt roads and bumpy terrain. Will Amazonas Driving School teach me how to drive in BOTH city AND rural environments?
If you live in a remote area, chances are very good that a local driving school like Amazonas Driving School will want you to be taught how to drive safely on the local area's terrain.
Now that I'm 14, will Illinois allow me to get a learner's permit to drive?
Not likely.  Most states require residents to be at least 15 or 15 1/2 years old before applying for an instruction permit.  We recommend that your contact the Illinois DMV office or a Illinois-approved driver training institute such as Amazonas Driving School to learn more about the minimum driving age requirement in Illinois.
Is taking a drivers education course in a classroom or online sufficient in Chicago Illinois or do I also have to register for a behind-the-wheel training class with a professional driving instructor?
It depends on what the Illinois's laws require, but many states do mandate that new, young drivers to register for a behind-the-wheel training class with a professional driving instructor as well as a drivers education classroom or online course.
I have to complete a behind-the-wheel class in Chicago Illinois before Illinois will give me my driver's license. Does Amazonas Driving School offer this type of course?
Amazonas Driving School does offer the driver training course in Chicago Illinois that is required by the State of Illinois.  You will need to contact Amazonas Driving School directly for more information about the driver courses they offer and their class schedules.
What steps do I have to take in order to get a Illinois drivers license in Chicago Illinois?
Most states require that teen-agers who are applying for their first driver's license complete both a safe driving classroom course and a driver training course.  Amazonas Driving School may be able to help you fulfill the behind-the-wheel training portion in Illinois.  Please contact Amazonas Driving School for more information.

Is a behind-the-wheel training course required in Chicago Illinois for me to get a drivers license?
The law in Illinois requires that all drivers complete a driver training program as part of their driver education.  You should contact Amazonas Driving School directly to find out about the types of courses they offer.
Is it possible to register for a Illinois-approved driver training course before I obtain my Illinois instruction permit?
It depends on what the specific laws are in Illinois, however most states require first-time drivers to receive a instruction permit before signing up for a behind-the-wheel training course.  We recommend you contact a driving school such as Amazonas Driving School to obtain more information.
