Bulldog Driving School FAQ’s
How do I know if Bulldog Driving School is licensed by Illinois's DMV to offer behind-the-wheel training courses?
While we do include Bulldog Driving School's contact information in our driving school directory, we cannot say with certainty as to whether Bulldog Driving School is certified by the State of Illinois.  We recommend that you either contact Bulldog Driving School directly or possibly the Illinois DMV to find out if Bulldog Driving School is a certified driver training school.
Could I just have my mother or father give me my behind-the-wheel training instead of paying money to take a professional driver training course?
It depends on which state you live in.  There are some states which allow you to do your behind-the-wheel training with a parent or guardian instead of attending a professional driving school.  However many states require that new drivers take a professionally-taught driver training course.  We recommend that you ask your state's DMV office to find out if your parent or guardian can fill the role as your behind-the-wheel driving instructor.
Do I need to tell Bulldog Driving School that I need to train with an automatic-shift vehicle? I don't know how to drive a stick-shift car.
Most new drivers don't know how to operate either a stick-shift OR and automatic-shift car!  We recommend that you ask Bulldog Driving School if you can complete your behind-the-wheel training using an automatic-shift automobile before you enroll in their driver training course.
I live in a small mountain town, where there are a lot of small, unpaved roads. Will my behind-the-wheel training with Bulldog Driving School include learning how to drive in rural areas? Or do they just offer training for urban driving?
Most local driving schools will likely want their students to be taught how to drive safely in the local area.  Therefore, chances are good that the driver training you receive from Bulldog Driving School will include handling unpaved roads and mountain driving.
Can I apply for my Illinois learner's permit once I turn 14?
Most likely, no.  Most states have set the youngest age to obtain a learner's permit at 15 or 15½.  You may want to contact the Illinois Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) or a licensed driving instruction school like Bulldog Driving School to learn more about the minimum age requirement in Illinois.
Do I have to complete a Elmwood Park Illinois drivers education classroom course or online course before enrolling in one of Bulldog Driving School's driver training courses?
Each state has its own laws, but most states will require first-time drivers to take both a driver training course plus either a drivers education classroom course (which are about 30 hours in length) or an approved online defensive driving course.  You may want to ask Bulldog Driving School if they offer one or both programs.
I am looking to sign up to take a Elmwood Park Illinois behind-the-wheel training course. Can Bulldog Driving School assist me with this?
Yes.  Drivers education courses are available in Elmwood Park Illinois through Bulldog Driving School.  Please contact Bulldog Driving School directly with questions regarding their schedule of classes and registration information.
What do I need to do to get a Illinois drivers license in Elmwood Park Illinois?
Most states require that teen-agers who are applying for their first driver's license complete both a safe driving classroom course and a driver training course.  Bulldog Driving School may be able to help you meet the driver training portion in Illinois.  Please contact Bulldog Driving School for more information.

Am I required to take a Elmwood Park Illinois driver training course?
All drivers in Illinois are required to take a behind-the-wheel training course.  You should contact Bulldog Driving School to learn more about the courses they offer.
Can I sign up to take a Illinois-certified behind-the-wheel training course even if I don't have my Illinois instruction permit yet?
Most likely, no.  Most states have laws that mandate a pre-licensed driver to have obtained a Illinois instruction permit before registering in a Illinois driver training course.  It would be best for you to contact a driving school such as Bulldog Driving School and ask for more information.
