Zertuche's Driving School FAQ’s
How do I know if Zertuche's Driving School is certified by California's DMV to offer behind-the-wheel training courses?
While we do include Zertuche's Driving School's contact information in our driving school directory, we cannot say with certainty as to whether Zertuche's Driving School is certified by the State of California.  We recommend that you either contact Zertuche's Driving School directly or possibly the California DMV to find out if Zertuche's Driving School is a licensed driver training school.
Do you know if I can do my driver training with my mother or father instead of attending a behind-the-wheel training course like the ones offered by Zertuche's Driving School?
Some states allow teen-agers to do their driver training with their parents instead of attending a professional driver training school.  We recommend that you contact the California DMV or Zertuche's Driving School directly to find out if California allows parent-taught driver training.
I don't know how to drive using a stick-shift. Will Zertuche's Driving School have an automatic-shift car available that I can use for my behind-the-wheel training?
Since you're enrolling in a Modesto California driver training class, chances are good that you don't know how to drive either a manual-shift OR an automatic!  However, you should let Zertuche's Driving School know what your preference is before signing up to take their driver class.  That way you'll know for sure they will accommodate you.
I don't live anywhere near a city. There are dirt roads and bumpy terrain all around my house. How do I know if Zertuche's Driving School will train me on how to drive in a rural area like where I live and not just teach me how to drive in a town-or city-type environment?
Since Zertuche's Driving School is a local driver training company in your area, it's a safe bet that Zertuche's Driving School will be motivated (or perhaps required) to teach its local customers how to drive on rough terrain.  If you want to make certain, however, you may want to call Zertuche's Driving School to find out exactly what's included in their behind-the-wheel training course before you register with them.
Can 14-year-olds get instruction permits to drive in California?
Most states have set the minimum age for applying for an instruction permit at 15 or 15 1/2.  However, some states do allow 14-year-olds to obtain an instruction permit.  You may want to contact the California DMV or a California-approved driver training school like Zertuche's Driving School to find out what the minimum age to drive is in California.
Can I take Zertuche's Driving School's behind-the-wheel training course before taking a Modesto California defensive driving classroom course or online course?
It depends on what California's laws say.  However, you should know that most states will require teen-aged, first-time drivers to complete both a defensive driving classroom course (which are approximately 30 hours in length, depending on California's laws) or an approved online course, plus a state-approved driver training course.  We recommend that you contact Zertuche's Driving School directly to see if they offer either (or both) of these courses.
California's DMV has told me that I need to take a driver training course. Do you know if Zertuche's Driving School offers this course or not?
Zertuche's Driving School does offer the driver training course that California requires all new teen-aged drivers to take.  For more information about the courses Zertuche's Driving School offers, we recommend that you contact Zertuche's Driving School directly.
Exactly what type of driver education do I need in Modesto California before I can get my California driver's license?
The prerequisites for getting a driver's licenses vary from state to state, however most states now require teen-agers who are looking to get their first driver's license to sign up to take a drivers education classroom course as well as a driver training course.  We suggest that you contact a local driver training company such as Zertuche's Driving School and ask if they offer a California-approved  behind-the-wheel training course which would satisfy California's driver's education requirements.
Do I have to take a Modesto California behind-the-wheel training course in order to get a driver's license?
Yes.  All drivers in California must successfully complete an approved behind-the-wheel training course in order to be licensed to operate a motor vehicle.  Please contact Zertuche's Driving School for information on the types of behind-the-wheel training courses they offer in Modesto California.
Am I required to receive my learner's permit in California before I am allowed to register for a driver training course like the one Zertuche's Driving School gives its students?
Laws vary from state to state, however most states do require that you receive a learner's permit before you can enroll in a driver training course like the one that Zertuche's Driving School gives its students.
