Adaptive Driving Rehab FAQ’s
Adaptive Driving Rehab is listed on your website as a driving school which offers driver training courses. How do I know if Adaptive Driving Rehab is a licensed school in Nevada?
While we include a list of driver training schools on our website for your convenience, we cannot guarantee that every single one of them is currently licensed by the Nevada DMV.  We suggest you contact Adaptive Driving Rehab directly or the Nevada DMV to find out if Adaptive Driving Rehab is a fully-accredited driver training school.
Is it true that my mom or dad can be my driving instructor when I do my driver training instead of a professional driver training school instructor like the ones they have at Adaptive Driving Rehab?
It depends on what your state's laws are.  You should contact the Nevada DMV or a licensed driver training school like Adaptive Driving Rehab to find out if Nevada allows driver training with a parent.
What happens if I don't know how to drive a stick-shift vehicle? Will Adaptive Driving Rehab allow me to do my driver training with an automatic-shift car?
Considering you're a brand new driver, you probably don't know much about driving any type of vehicle--stick-shift or automatic-shift!  However, if you prefer to complete your driver training using an automatic-shift vehicle, you should contact Adaptive Driving Rehab and let them know before you sign up to take their driver training course.  That way you will know for certain if they will accommodate you.
I live in a small rural town, where there are a lot of small, unpaved roads. Will my behind-the-wheel training with Adaptive Driving Rehab include learning how to drive in rural areas? Or do they just offer training for city driving?
Most local driving schools will likely want their students to know how to drive safely in the local area.  Therefore, chances are good that the driver training you receive from Adaptive Driving Rehab will include handling unpaved roads and mountain driving.
I just turned 14 years old. Am I eligible to apply for my instruction permit in Nevada?
Probably not.  The minimum age requirement for holding an instruction permit in most states is 15 1/2.  You should contact the Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) or a licensed driving school such as Adaptive Driving Rehab to find out more information about the minimum age requirement in Nevada.
Do I have to take a Las Vegas Nevada classroom or online drivers education course before I can register for a driver training course through Adaptive Driving Rehab?
This requirement varies by state but most states do require pre-licensed drivers to take BOTH a classroom-based driver education course (generally 30 hours in length) AND a driver training course.  You should ask Adaptive Driving Rehab if they offer one or both programs.
Nevada law says that I must enroll in a hands-on driver training course in order to get licensed to drive in Las Vegas Nevada. Is this something that Adaptive Driving Rehab can help me with?
Yes, Adaptive Driving Rehab offers the Nevada-approved hands-on driver training course.  For more information about their classes and instruction schedule, please contact Adaptive Driving Rehab directly.
I live in Las Vegas Nevada. What are the requirements for me to be able to get my first Nevada driver's license?
It depends on the particular laws of Nevada, but most states require teen-aged first-time license applicants to successfully complete both a safe driving classroom course and a behind-the-wheel training course.  Adaptive Driving Rehab may offer courses which would meet the behind-the-wheel training requirement, however you will need to contact them directly to find out exactly what types of courses they offer.
Do I have to take a Las Vegas Nevada driver training course in order to get a driver's license?
Yes.  All drivers in Nevada must enroll in an approved driver training course in order to receive a driver's license.  Please contact Adaptive Driving Rehab for information on the types of behind-the-wheel training courses they offer in Las Vegas Nevada.
Is it all right if I register with a behind-the-wheel training school like Adaptive Driving Rehab prior to my receiving my learner's permit?
In most states, you are required to have already received your instruction permit before you enroll in your driver training course like the one offered by Adaptive Driving Rehab.  We suggest you contact either Adaptive Driving Rehab to find out more information.
