Giron Driving School FAQ’s
How do I know if Giron Driving School is licensed by Nevada's DMV to offer driver training courses?
While we do include Giron Driving School's contact information in our driving school directory, we cannot say with certainty as to whether Giron Driving School is certified by the State of Nevada.  We recommend that you either contact Giron Driving School directly or possibly the Nevada DMV to find out if Giron Driving School is a licensed driver training school.
I've been told that either of my parents can supervise my driver training, so I don't have to attend a Las Vegas Nevada driving school like Giron Driving School to fulfill my driver training requirement. Do you know if that's true or not?
You will need to contact the Nevada DMV or a state-approved driving school like Giron Driving School to find out.  Some states do allow parent-taught driving, but many states do not.
What happens if I don't know how to operate a manual-shift vehicle? Will Giron Driving School allow me to do my behind-the-wheel training with an automatic-shift automobile?
Considering you're a brand new driver, you probably don't know much about operating any type of vehicle--manual-shift or automatic-shift!  However, if you prefer to complete your driver training using an automatic-shift vehicle, you should contact Giron Driving School and let them know before you register for their driver training course.  That way you will know for certain if they will accommodate you.
I live out in the middle of nowhere. There are rural and mountain roads everywhere. Will Giron Driving School train me how to drive in BOTH rural AND city areas?
If you live in a rural or mountain town, chances are that a local driving school like Giron Driving School will include behind-the-wheel driver training specifically tailored to that terrain.
Are 14-year-olds eligible to obtain a instruction permit in Nevada?
Although a few states allow teen-agers to begin practicing how to drive at 14, most states have set the youngest age for which to hold an instruction permit at either 15 or 15½.  You will need to contact the Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) or a certified driving instruction company like Giron Driving School to find out what the minimum age for driving is in Nevada.
I live in Las Vegas Nevada. Does the law say I have to enroll in both a driver ed classroom or online course and a driver training course in order to be fully-licensed here?
Each state has its own laws in regards to licensing procedures.  However, most states do mandate that new, teen-aged drivers enroll in both a behind-the-wheel training course plus either a drivers education online course or drivers education classroom course .
Does Giron Driving School provide a driver training course like the one that is required by the State of Nevada? I need to enroll in one in order to obtain my driver license.
Giron Driving School offers hands-on driver training courses which are approved by the Nevada DMV.  You may want to contact Giron Driving School directly for more information about their courses and how to go about registering for one.
What type of driver ed do I need before Nevada will give me a driver's license?
Each state has its own requirements concerning drivers education, although you should know that most states now require all new, young drivers to enroll in a safe driving classroom or online course as well as a behind-the-wheel training course.  Giron Driving School may be able to help you meet the behind-the-wheel training requirement in Nevada.  Please contact either Giron Driving School or the Nevada DMV for more information.
Is it necessary for me to take a behind-the-wheel training course in order to get my first Nevada driver's license?
Yes, it is.  All teen-aged drivers applying for their first driver's license in Nevada must complete a state-approved behind-the-wheel training course.
Is it all right if I register with a driver training school like Giron Driving School prior to my obtaining my learner's permit?
In most states, you are required to have already gotten your instruction permit before you register for your driver training course like the one offered by Giron Driving School.  We suggest you contact either Giron Driving School to find out more information.
