All Star Driver Education FAQ’s
Can you tell me if All Star Driver Education is a certified driver training school in Nevada?
Although All Star Driver Education is listed on our list of driving schools in your area, we are unable to say with certainty as to whether they are currently certified to teach hands-on driving courses in Nevada.  We recommend either calling All Star Driver Education directly or the Nevada DMV to find out whether or not All Star Driver Education offers driver training courses that are state-approved.
Do I have to take a driver training course? Can't my parents just give me my driver training?
There are some states that do permit parents or guardians to provide their teen-aged kids' required driver training in order to obtain a driver's license.  However many states do not allow any type of substitution for taking a professionally-taught behind-the-wheel training course.  We suggest you contact your state's DMV to find out what the laws are in your state regarding behind-the-wheel training.
Do you know if All Star Driver Education will let me complete my driver training using an automatic-shift vehicle? I don't know anything about using a stick-shift.
Considering you're a brand new driver, you probably don't know a whole lot about driving ANY type of vehicle, be it a stick OR an automatic!  Nevertheless, if you have a preference, you probably should contact All Star Driver Education and see if they can accommodate you before registering for their behind-the-wheel training course.
I live out in the middle of nowhere. There are rural and mountain roads all around. Will All Star Driver Education teach me how to drive in BOTH rural AND city areas?
If you live in a rural or mountain community, chances are that a local driving school like All Star Driver Education will include behind-the-wheel driver training specifically tailored to that terrain.
After I turn 14, will I be eligible to obtain my learner's permit so I can begin to learn how to drive?
It depends on which state you live in, however most states unfortunately require you to be at least 15 (or sometimes 15 1/2) before you can be issued a learner's permit.  We suggest that you contact a local driver training school such as All Star Driver Education or the Nevada DMV office to learn more about the minimum age requirement for driving in Nevada.
Can I take All Star Driver Education's driver training course before taking a Las Vegas Nevada drivers education classroom course or online course?
It depends on what Nevada's laws say.  However, you should know that most states will require teen-aged, first-time drivers to complete both a drivers education classroom course (which are approximately 30 hours in length, depending on Nevada's laws) or an approved online course, plus a state-approved behind-the-wheel training course.  We recommend that you contact All Star Driver Education directly to see if they offer either (or both) of these courses.
If I need to enroll in a Las Vegas Nevada driving school, can All Star Driver Education help?
Yes.  All Star Driver Education offers driving courses in Las Vegas Nevada.  For more information about the type of behind-the-wheel training All Star Driver Education offers and the training schedule, you should contact them directly.
What do I need to do to get a driver's license in Las Vegas Nevada?
It depends on Nevada's laws, but most states require new, teen-aged drivers to enroll in a safe driving classroom course as well as a driver training course.  You may want to call All Star Driver Education to see if they offer the behind-the-wheel training course that would meet the regulations set forth by the Nevada DMV.
Am I required to take a Las Vegas Nevada behind-the-wheel training course?
All drivers in Nevada must take a behind-the-wheel training course.  You should contact All Star Driver Education to learn more about the courses they offer.
Is it possible to enroll in a Nevada-approved behind-the-wheel training course before I obtain my Nevada learners permit?
It depends on what the specific laws are in Nevada, however most states require first-time drivers to receive a instruction permit before registering for a driver training course.  We recommend you contact a driving school such as All Star Driver Education to obtain more information.
