Cazares Driving School FAQ’s
Are all the driving schools listed on your website fully-accredited by the Texas DMV to offer behind-the-wheel training courses in Texas?
The driving school directory on our website is for your convenience only, and we cannot absolutely guarantee that every driving school listed is currently licensed to offer behind-the-wheel training courses in Texas.  We suggest you contact the Texas DMV to make sure a particular driver training school is certified before you register for their driving course.
Do I have to take a driver training course? Can't my parents just give me my behind-the-wheel training?
There are some states that do allow parents or guardians to provide their teen-aged kids' required behind-the-wheel training in order to obtain a driver's license.  However many states do not allow any type of substitution for taking a professionally-taught behind-the-wheel training course.  We suggest you contact your state's DMV to find out what the laws are in your state regarding hands-on driving instruction.
I can't operate a stick-shift. Will Cazares Driving School allow me to complete my behind-the-wheel training on an automatic-shift vehicle?
We recommend that you contact Cazares Driving School and ask them if you can do your behind-the-wheel training using a vehicle that has an automatic shift before enrolling in their driver training course.
Since I live way out in a remote location where driving on unpaved roads and rugged terrain is the norm, will Cazares Driving School be able to teach me how to drive in a non-urban environment? Or do they only prepare you for city-driving?
Since you live in a remote location, odds are that any local driving school in your area such as Cazares Driving School will want you to be able to drive safely on unpaved roads and bumpy terrain.  We recommend that you contact Cazares Driving School directly to find out exactly what they offer.
Now that I'm 14, will Texas allow me to get a learner's permit to drive?
Not likely.  Most states require residents to be at least 15 or 15 1/2 years old before applying for an instruction permit.  We recommend that your contact the Texas DMV office or a Texas-approved driving school such as Cazares Driving School to learn more about the minimum driving age requirement in Texas.
Do I have to complete a Palmview Texas drivers education classroom course or online course before signing up to take one of Cazares Driving School's behind-the-wheel training courses?
Each state has its own rules, but most states will require first-time drivers to take both a behind-the-wheel training course plus either a defensive driving classroom course (which are about 30 hours in length) or an approved online defensive driving course.  You may want to ask Cazares Driving School if they offer one or both programs.
Texas law says that I must enroll in a driver training course in order to get licensed to drive in Palmview Texas. Is this something that Cazares Driving School can help me with?
Yes, Cazares Driving School offers the Texas-approved hands-on driver training course.  For more information about their classes and instruction schedule, please contact Cazares Driving School directly.
How do I get a drivers license in Palmview Texas?
In most states, pre-licensed teens are required to complete both a classroom drivers education course and a driver training course.  Cazares Driving School may be able to help you meet the driver training portion in Texas.
Do I have to take a Palmview Texas driver training course in order to get a driver's license?
Yes.  All drivers in Texas must successfully complete an approved driver training course in order to be licensed to operate a motor vehicle.  Please contact Cazares Driving School for information on the types of driver training courses they offer in Palmview Texas.
Can I register for a Texas-certified driver training course even if I don't have my Texas learners permit yet?
Most likely, no.  Most states have laws that mandate a pre-licensed driver to have obtained a Texas learners permit before registering in a Texas behind-the-wheel training course.  It would be best for you to contact a driving school such as Cazares Driving School and ask for more information.
