Do I have to take a behind-the-wheel training course? Can't my parents just give me my driver training?
There are some states that do allow parents or guardians to provide their teen-aged kids' required driver training in order to obtain a driver's license.  However many states do not allow any type of substitution for enrolling in a professionally-taught driver training course. We suggest you contact your state's DMV to find out what the laws are in your state regarding behind-the-wheel training.
I don't know how to drive using a stick-shift. Will Z Driving School, LLC have an automatic-shift car available that I can use for my driver training?
Since you're enrolling in a Houston Texas driver training class, chances are good that you don't know how to drive either a manual-shift OR an automatic! However, you should let Z Driving School, LLC know what your preference is before signing up to take their driver class. That way you'll know for sure they will accommodate you.
What happens to those of us who live in a non-urban area? Will Z Driving School, LLC include instruction on how to drive on dirt roads, mountain roads, and other bumpy terrain?
If you live in a rural location, there is a high probability that a local driving school like Z Driving School, LLC will either want--or even be required--to tailor their instruction towards driving safely in your particular area.
After I turn 14, will I be eligible to obtain my instruction permit so I can begin to learn how to drive?
