All-Star Driving School FAQ’s
Is All-Star Driving School a certified driving school in Wisconsin?
Just because a driving school appears on our directory of driver training institutions, we cannot guarantee that they are fully licensed to offer hands-on driving courses in Wisconsin.  We highly recommend that you contact All-Star Driving School directly or the Wisconsin DMV to find out for sure if All-Star Driving School offers behind-the-wheel training courses that have been approved by the State of Wisconsin.
Do you know if I can complete my behind-the-wheel training with my mother or father instead of attending a driving school like All-Star Driving School?
Some states allow teen-agers to complete their behind-the-wheel training with their parents instead of attending a professional driver training school.  We recommend that you contact the Wisconsin DMV or All-Star Driving School directly to find out if Wisconsin allows parent-taught driver training.
Do I need to tell All-Star Driving School that I need to train with an automatic-shift car? I don't know how to operate a manual-shift car.
Most new drivers don't know how to operate either a stick-shift OR and automatic-shift automobile!  We recommend that you ask All-Star Driving School if you can complete your driver training using an automatic-shift automobile before you enroll in their driver training course.
I live in a small rural community, where there are a lot of small, unpaved roads. Will my behind-the-wheel training with All-Star Driving School include being taught how to drive in rural areas? Or do they just offer training for urban driving?
Most local driving schools will likely want their students to be taught how to drive safely in the local area.  Therefore, chances are good that the driver training you receive from All-Star Driving School will include handling dirt roads and mountain driving.
Can I apply for my Wisconsin instruction permit once I turn 14?
Most likely, no.  Most states have set the minimum age to obtain an instruction permit at 15 or 15½.  You may want to contact the Wisconsin Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) or a certified driver training school like All-Star Driving School to learn more about the minimum age requirement in Wisconsin.
Is taking a drivers education course in a classroom or online sufficient in Monona Wisconsin or do I also have to register for a driver training class with a professional driving instructor?
It depends on what the Wisconsin's laws require, but many states do mandate that new, young drivers to take a behind-the-wheel training class with a professional driving instructor as well as a drivers education classroom or online course.
Wisconsin's DMV has told me that I need to take a behind-the-wheel training course. Do you know if All-Star Driving School offers this course or not?
All-Star Driving School does offer the driver training course that Wisconsin requires all new teen-aged drivers to take.  For more information about the courses All-Star Driving School offers, we recommend that you contact All-Star Driving School directly.
Do I have to take drivers education to get a Wisconsin driver's license?
Drivers education requirements vary depending on which state you live in, but you should be aware that most states require new, teen-aged drivers to sign up to take both a driver training course in addition to a safe driving classroom or online course.  You may wish to contact the Wisconsin DMV to find out exactly what requirements you will need to satisfy in order to obtain your first driver's license.
Am I obligated to take a Monona Wisconsin driver training course?
All drivers in Wisconsin are required to take a behind-the-wheel training course.  You should contact All-Star Driving School to learn more about the courses they offer.
Can I sign up to take a Wisconsin driver training course prior to having my Wisconsin learners permit?
Most states require pre-licensed drivers to hold a instruction permit before being permitted to sign up to take a behind-the-wheel training course.  You should contact a driving school like All-Star Driving School and ask for more information.
