How many hours of supervised driving do I need before I can get my drivers license in Connecticut?

If you have a Connecticut learners permit, no one may ride in the car you are driving except your parents or legal guardians, a driving instructor, or a licensed Connecticut driver is at least 20 years old and has at least 4 years of driving experience and no license suspensions. 

For the first 6 months after you get your Connecticut drivers license, the passenger restrictions are the same as if you had a learners permit.  If you have no driving mishaps during this time, you may start having passengers ride with you beginning with the 7th month of having your drivers license.
