Minimum Age for Learner Permit 15 years, 6 months
Learner Permit Holding Period 6 months

Minimum Amount of Supervised Driving 50 hours (including 10 at night) with a qualified supervising driver (i.e.—an adult who’s been licensed to drive for at least 5 years).
Unsupervised Driving Rules Intermediate license holders may not drive between 1:00am and 5:00am unless a qualified supervising driver is in the vehicle.
Passenger Rules For the first three (3) months after receiving your intermediate driver’s license, you may not carry any passengers outside of your family who are under age 20. During the second six (6) months, you may drive with up to three (3) non-family passengers in the vehicle.
Other Driver education is required for license applicants age 18 and younger.
