Bee Driving School FAQ’s
Are all the driving schools listed on your website fully-certified by the Ohio DMV to offer behind-the-wheel training courses in Ohio?
The driving school directory on our website is for your convenience only, and we cannot absolutely guarantee that every driving school listed is currently certified to offer behind-the-wheel training courses in Ohio.  We suggest you contact the Ohio DMV to make sure a particular driver training school is certified before you register for their driver training course.
Do you know if I can do my behind-the-wheel training with my mother or father instead of attending a driving school like Bee Driving School?
Some states allow teen-agers to complete their behind-the-wheel training with their parents instead of attending a professional driver training school.  We recommend that you contact the Ohio DMV or Bee Driving School directly to find out if Ohio allows parent-taught behind-the-wheel training.
Do I need to tell Bee Driving School that I need to train with an automatic-shift vehicle? I don't know how to drive a stick-shift vehicle.
Most new drivers don't know how to operate either a manual-shift OR and automatic-shift automobile!  We recommend that you ask Bee Driving School if you can complete your driver training using an automatic-shift car before you sign up to take their driver training course.
The area in which I live is mostly undeveloped--very few paved roads and mountains are all around. Will Bee Driving School be able to teach me how to drive safely on bumpy terrain as well as in a city or town?
Considering that you live in a remote area, chances are excellent that a local driving school like Bee Driving School will want you to be able to drive safely on dirt roads and other types of rugged terrain.  You may wish to contact Bee Driving School to find out exactly what their driver training course includes before signing up to take their training course.
After I turn 14, will I be eligible to obtain my learner's permit so I can begin to learn how to drive?
It depends on which state you live in, however most states unfortunately require you to be at least 15 (or sometimes 15 1/2) before you can be issued a instruction permit.  We suggest that you contact a local driver training school such as Bee Driving School or the Ohio DMV office to learn more about the minimum age requirement for driving in Ohio.
Do you know if the laws in Ohio require new teen-aged drivers to register for a driver training course in addition to a driver ed classroom or online course?
The laws vary from state to state, but many states do require you to register for a driver training course with "hands-on" practice in addition to a driver ed classroom or online course.
I have to take a drivers education course in Hamilton Ohio. Can I meet this requirement by registering with Bee Driving School?
Yes, Bee Driving School offers drivers education courses in Hamilton Ohio.  You will need to contact Bee Driving School directly to get more information on the types of courses they offer and when to register for a class.
What type of driver ed do I need before Ohio will give me a driver's license?
Each state has its own requirements concerning drivers education, although you should know that most states now require all new, young drivers to enroll in a safe driving classroom or online course as well as a behind-the-wheel training course.  Bee Driving School may be able to help you meet the driver training requirement in Ohio.  Please contact either Bee Driving School or the Ohio DMV for more information.
Is a behind-the-wheel training course required in Hamilton Ohio for me to get a drivers license?
The law in Ohio requires that all drivers complete a behind-the-wheel training course as part of their driver education.  You should contact Bee Driving School directly to find out about the types of courses they offer.
Do I need to have my learner's permit before I sign up to take a behind-the-wheel training course like the one that Bee Driving School offers?
You will need to contact Bee Driving School or the Ohio DMV to find out if you are allowed to sign up with a driving school like Bee Driving School before receiving your Ohio instruction permit.
