Rightwood Driving School FAQ’s
Can you tell me if Rightwood Driving School is a licensed driving school in Ohio?
Although Rightwood Driving School is listed on our list of driving schools in your area, we are unable to say with certainty as to whether they are currently licensed to teach behind-the-wheel training courses in Ohio.  We recommend either calling Rightwood Driving School directly or the Ohio DMV to find out whether or not Rightwood Driving School offers driver training courses that are state-approved.
Do you know if I can complete my driver training with my mother or father instead of attending a behind-the-wheel training course like the ones offered by Rightwood Driving School?
Some states allow teen-agers to do their driver training with their parents instead of attending a professional driving school.  We recommend that you contact the Ohio DMV or Rightwood Driving School directly to find out if Ohio allows parent-taught driver training.
I can't drive a manual-shift. Will Rightwood Driving School allow me to complete my driver training on an automatic-shift vehicle?
We recommend that you contact Rightwood Driving School and ask them if you can do your driver training using a vehicle that has an automatic shift before signing up to take their driver training course.
I live out in the middle of nowhere. There are rural and mountain roads all around. Will Rightwood Driving School train me how to drive in BOTH rural AND city areas?
If you live in a rural or mountain town, chances are that a local driving instruction institute like Rightwood Driving School will include driving lessons specifically tailored to that terrain.
Are 14-year-olds allowed to obtain a instruction permit in Ohio?
Although a few states allow teen-agers to begin practicing how to drive at 14, most states have set the youngest age for which to hold a learner's permit at either 15 or 15½.  You will need to contact the Ohio Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) or a certified driving school like Rightwood Driving School to find out what the minimum age for driving is in Ohio.
I live in Reynoldsburg Ohio. Does the law say I have to successfully complete both a driver ed classroom or online course and a behind-the-wheel training course in order to be fully-licensed here?
Each state has its own laws in regards to licensing procedures.  However, most states do mandate that new, teen-aged drivers take both a behind-the-wheel training course plus either a drivers education online course or drivers education classroom course .
Does Rightwood Driving School provide a hands-on driver training course like the one that is required by the State of Ohio? I need to register for one in order to obtain my driver license.
Rightwood Driving School offers driver training courses which are approved by the Ohio DMV.  You may want to contact Rightwood Driving School directly for more information about their courses and how to go about signing up for one.
What type of driver ed do I need before Ohio will give me a driver's license?
Each state has its own requirements concerning drivers education, although you should know that most states now mandate all new, young drivers to enroll in a drivers education classroom or online course as well as a behind-the-wheel training course.  Rightwood Driving School may be able to help you meet the behind-the-wheel training requirement in Ohio.  Please contact either Rightwood Driving School or the Ohio DMV for more information.
Do I have to take a Reynoldsburg Ohio behind-the-wheel training course in order to get a driver's license?
Yes.  All drivers in Ohio must successfully complete an approved behind-the-wheel training course in order to receive a driver's license.  Please contact Rightwood Driving School for information on the types of driver training courses they offer in Reynoldsburg Ohio.
Can I register for a Ohio-approved behind-the-wheel training course even if I don't have my Ohio instruction permit yet?
Most likely, no.  Most states have laws that require a pre-licensed driver to have obtained a Ohio learners permit before registering in a Ohio behind-the-wheel training course.  It would be best for you to contact a driving school such as Rightwood Driving School and ask for more information.
