All State Auto Driving School FAQ’s
Is All State Auto Driving School licensed by the Michigan DMV to offer behind-the-wheel training courses?
Although we include All State Auto Driving School in our directory of driving schools for Warren Michigan, we cannot make any assurances about whether or not All State Auto Driving School is certified by the Michigan DMV.  You should contact All State Auto Driving School directly and ask them if you are thinking about enrolling in their Warren Michigan behind-the-wheel training class.
Do you know if I can do my driver training with my mother or father instead of attending a behind-the-wheel training course like the ones offered by All State Auto Driving School?
Some states allow teen-agers to complete their driver training with their parents instead of attending a professional driving school.  We recommend that you contact the Michigan DMV or All State Auto Driving School directly to find out if Michigan allows parent-taught driver training.
I have no clue how to drive a stick-shift vehicle. What happens if All State Auto Driving School makes me train on a stick-shift vehicle?
Considering the fact you are a brand new driver, you probably don't know much about operating ANY type of vehicle....manual OR automatic!  If you prefer to do your hands-on driver training with an automatic-shift vehicle, you may want to call All State Auto Driving School and let them know before you enroll in their behind-the-wheel training course.  That way you'll know for certain whether All State Auto Driving School will be able to accommodate you before you pay them any money.
I live in a small rural town, where there are a lot of small, unpaved roads. Will my driver training with All State Auto Driving School include being taught how to drive in rural areas? Or do they just offer training for city driving?
Most local driving schools will likely want their students to be taught how to drive safely in the local area.  Therefore, chances are good that the driver training you receive from All State Auto Driving School will include handling dirt roads and mountain driving.
Are 14-year-olds allowed to obtain a instruction permit in Michigan?
Although a few states allow teen-agers to begin practicing how to drive at 14, most states have set the minimum age for which to receive a learner's permit at either 15 or 15½.  You will need to contact the Michigan Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) or a licensed driving school like All State Auto Driving School to find out what the minimum age for driving is in Michigan.
Is taking a drivers education course in a classroom or online sufficient in Warren Michigan or do I also have to take a behind-the-wheel training class with a professional driving instructor?
It depends on what the Michigan's laws require, but many states do mandate that new, young drivers to register for a behind-the-wheel training class with a professional driving instructor as well as a drivers education classroom or online course.
Michigan's DMV has told me that I need to take a behind-the-wheel training course. Do you know if All State Auto Driving School offers this course or not?
All State Auto Driving School does offer the driver training course that Michigan requires all new teen-aged drivers to take.  For more information about the courses All State Auto Driving School offers, we recommend that you contact All State Auto Driving School directly.
I live in Warren Michigan. What requirements must I meet to be able to get my first Michigan driver's license?
It depends on the particular laws of Michigan, but most states require teen-aged first-time license applicants to successfully complete both a drivers education classroom course and a driver training course.  All State Auto Driving School may offer courses which would meet the driver training requirement, however you will need to contact them directly to find out exactly what types of courses they offer.
Is there a law in Michigan that says I have to take behind-the-wheel training in order to get my driver's license?
Yes.  State law in Michigan requires that all teen-agers enroll in an approved driver training course before receiving a Michigan driver's license.
Is it okay for me to register for a driver training class in Michigan before I receive my Michigan instruction permit to drive?
Probably not.  Most states require first-time drivers to have their instruction permit before they are allowed to register for a driver training program.  You should contact a driving school like All State Auto Driving School and request more information.
