Hallstartz Business Center FAQ’s
Since Hallstartz Business Center appears on your website, does this mean they are approved by the Michigan DMV to offer behind-the-wheel training courses?
The list of driver training schools on our webpage is provided as a convenience to our customers only.  We CANNOT guarantee that every single school listed is fully-approved by the Michigan DMV.  You may want to call Hallstartz Business Center directly to find out if they offer a state-certified behind-the-wheel training course.
I heard that parents can fill the role of driving supervisor in Michigan, so taking a Detroit behind-the-wheel training course like the one Hallstartz Business Center offers is not necessary. Is that true?
You should contact the Michigan DMV or a licensed driver training school like Hallstartz Business Center and ask them.  While parent-taught driving instruction is permitted in some states, many states do NOT allow it.
I have no clue how to drive a manual-shift vehicle. What happens if Hallstartz Business Center makes me train on a manual-shift vehicle?
Considering the fact you are a brand new driver, you probably don't know much about operating ANY type of vehicle....manual OR automatic!  If you prefer to do your hands-on driver training with an automatic-shift vehicle, you may want to call Hallstartz Business Center and let them know before you enroll in their driver training course.  That way you'll know for certain whether Hallstartz Business Center can accommodate you before you pay them any money.
What happens to those of us who live in a rural area? Will Hallstartz Business Center include instruction on how to drive on dirt roads, mountain roads, and other bumpy terrain?
If you live in a rural location, there is a high probability that a local driver training school like Hallstartz Business Center will either want--or even be required--to tailor their instruction towards driving safely in your particular area.
If I'm 14, can I get an instruction permit to drive in Michigan?
Possibly.  However, you should be aware that most states require you to be at least 15½ years old before you can get a learner's permit.  We recommend that you contact the Michigan Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) or a licensed driving school such as Hallstartz Business Center to find out exactly what the minimum age requirement is in Michigan.
Do you know if the laws in Michigan require new teen-aged drivers to enroll in a driver training course in addition to a driver ed classroom or online course?
The laws vary from state to state, but many states do require you to take a driver training course with "hands-on" practice in addition to a driver ed classroom or online course.
I have to register for a behind-the-wheel class in Detroit Michigan before Michigan will give me my driver's license. Does Hallstartz Business Center offer this type of course?
Hallstartz Business Center does offer the behind-the-wheel training course in Detroit Michigan that is required by the State of Michigan.  You will need to contact Hallstartz Business Center directly for more information about the behind-the-wheel courses they offer and their class schedules.
How do I obtain a drivers license in Detroit Michigan?
In most states, pre-licensed teens are required to complete both a classroom drivers education course and a behind-the-wheel training course.  Hallstartz Business Center may be able to help you meet the behind-the-wheel training portion in Michigan.
Is there a law in Michigan that requires me to take behind-the-wheel training in order to get my driver's license?
Yes.  State law in Michigan mandates that all teen-agers enroll in an approved behind-the-wheel training course before receiving a Michigan driver's license.
Can I register for a Michigan-licensed behind-the-wheel training course even if I don't have my Michigan instruction permit yet?
Most likely, no.  Most states have laws that require a pre-licensed driver to have obtained a Michigan learners permit before registering in a Michigan driver training course.  It would be best for you to contact a driving school such as Hallstartz Business Center and ask for more information.
