Jungle Survival Driver Training FAQ’s
Is Jungle Survival Driver Training licensed by the Michigan DMV to offer driver training courses?
Although we include Jungle Survival Driver Training in our directory of driving schools for Ada Michigan, we cannot make any assurances about whether or not Jungle Survival Driver Training is licensed by the Michigan DMV.  You should contact Jungle Survival Driver Training directly and ask them if you are thinking about signing up to take their Ada Michigan driver training class.
Could I just have my mother or father teach me how to drive instead of paying money to enroll in a professional driver training course?
It depends on which state you live in.  There are some states which permit you to do your behind-the-wheel training with a parent or guardian instead of enrolling in a professional driving school.  However many states require that new drivers take a professionally-taught driver training course.  We recommend that you ask your state's DMV office to find out if your parent or guardian can fill the role as your behind-the-wheel driving instructor.
I don't know how to drive using a stick-shift. Will Jungle Survival Driver Training have an automatic-shift car available that I can use for my driver training?
Since you're enrolling in a Ada Michigan driver training class, chances are good that you don't know how to drive either a stick-shift OR an automatic!  However, you should let Jungle Survival Driver Training know what your preference is before enrolling in their behind-the-wheel class.  That way you'll know for sure they will accommodate you.
I live out in the middle of nowhere. There are rural and mountain roads all around. Will Jungle Survival Driver Training train me how to drive in BOTH rural AND city areas?
If you live in a rural or mountain community, chances are that a local driving school like Jungle Survival Driver Training will include behind-the-wheel driver training specifically tailored to that terrain.
Can 14-year-olds get instruction permits to drive in Michigan?
Most states have set the minimum age for applying for an instruction permit at 15 or 15 1/2.  However, some states do allow 14-year-olds to obtain a learner's permit.  You may want to contact the Michigan DMV or a Michigan-approved driver training school like Jungle Survival Driver Training to find out what the minimum age to drive is in Michigan.
Do I have to take a Ada Michigan classroom or online drivers education course before I can sign up to take a behind-the-wheel training course through Jungle Survival Driver Training?
This requirement varies from state to state but most states do require new teen-aged drivers to take BOTH a classroom-based driver education course (generally 30 hours in length) AND a behind-the-wheel training course.  You should ask Jungle Survival Driver Training if they offer one or both programs.
Michigan's DMV has told me that I need to take a driver training course. Do you know if Jungle Survival Driver Training offers this course or not?
Jungle Survival Driver Training does offer the driver training course that Michigan requires all new teen-aged drivers to take.  For more information about the courses Jungle Survival Driver Training offers, we recommend that you contact Jungle Survival Driver Training directly.
Exactly what type of driver training do I need in Ada Michigan before I can get my Michigan driver's license?
The prerequisites for getting a driver's licenses vary from state to state, however most states now require teen-agers who are looking to get their first driver's license to enroll in a safe driving classroom course as well as a driver training course.  We suggest that you contact a local driver training company such as Jungle Survival Driver Training and ask if they offer a Michigan-approved  behind-the-wheel training course which would fulfill Michigan's driver's education requirements.
Do I have to take a Ada Michigan behind-the-wheel training course in order to get a driver's license?
Yes.  All drivers in Michigan must enroll in an approved driver training course in order to receive a driver's license.  Please contact Jungle Survival Driver Training for information on the types of behind-the-wheel training courses they offer in Ada Michigan.
Will Michigan allow me to enroll in a behind-the-wheel training course before I actually get my instruction permit?
You will need to contact your state's DMV office to find out.  However, most states require that you obtain your instruction permit before you sign up with a behind-the-wheel training course.
