All Roads Safe Driving Training FAQ’s
Since All Roads Safe Driving Training appears on your website, does this mean they've been approved by the Florida DMV to offer behind-the-wheel training courses?
The list of driving schools on our webpage is provided as a convenience to our customers only.  We CANNOT guarantee that every single school listed is fully-approved by the Florida DMV.  You may want to call All Roads Safe Driving Training directly to find out if they offer a state-certified behind-the-wheel training course.
Could I just have my mother or father give me my behind-the-wheel training instead of paying money to attend a professional behind-the-wheel training course?
It depends on which state you live in.  There are some states which permit you to complete your behind-the-wheel training with a parent or guardian instead of attending a professional driving school.  However many states require that first-time drivers take a professionally-taught behind-the-wheel training course.  We recommend that you ask your state's DMV office to find out if your parent or guardian can fill the role as your behind-the-wheel driving instructor.
Do you know if All Roads Safe Driving Training will let me complete my driver training using an automatic-shift vehicle? I don't know anything about using a manual-shift.
Considering you're a brand new driver, you probably don't know a whole lot about driving ANY type of vehicle, be it a stick OR an automatic!  Nevertheless, if you have a preference, you probably should contact All Roads Safe Driving Training and see if they can accommodate you before registering for their behind-the-wheel training course.
Since I live way out in the country where driving on dirt roads and rugged terrain is the norm, will All Roads Safe Driving Training be able to teach me how to drive in a non-urban environment? Or do they only prepare you for city-driving?
Since you live in a rural area, odds are that any local driving school in your area such as All Roads Safe Driving Training will want you to be able to drive safely on dirt roads and rugged terrain.  We recommend that you contact All Roads Safe Driving Training directly to find out exactly what they offer.
After I turn 14, will I be eligible to get my instruction permit so I can begin to learn how to drive?
It depends on which state you live in, however most states unfortunately require you to be at least 15 (or sometimes 15 1/2) before you can be issued a learner's permit.  We suggest that you contact a local driver training school such as All Roads Safe Driving Training or the Florida DMV office to learn more about the minimum age requirement for driving in Florida.
Am I required to take a Orlando Florida classroom or online drivers education course before I can register for a behind-the-wheel training course through All Roads Safe Driving Training?
This requirement varies by state but most states do require new teen-aged drivers to take BOTH a classroom-based driver education course (generally 30 hours in length) AND a driver training course.  You should ask All Roads Safe Driving Training if they offer one or both programs.
I'm required to take a driver training course in Orlando Florida. Do you know if All Roads Safe Driving Training offers defensive driving classes in Orlando Florida?
Yes, All Roads Safe Driving Training does offer behind-the-wheel training courses in Orlando Florida.  For more information about their class schedule and how/when to enroll in one of their driver training courses, please contact All Roads Safe Driving Training directly.
Do I have to take drivers education to get a Florida driver's license?
Drivers education requirements vary depending on which state you live in, but you should be aware that most states require new, teen-aged drivers to complete both a driver training course in addition to a drivers education classroom or online course.  You may wish to contact the Florida DMV to find out exactly what requirements you will need to satisfy in order to obtain your first driver's license.
Is it necessary for me to sign up for a behind-the-wheel training course in order to get my first Florida driver's license?
Yes, it is.  All teen-aged drivers applying for their first driver's license in Florida are required to take a state-approved driver training course.
Is it possible to register for a Florida-certified behind-the-wheel training course before I obtain my Florida learners permit?
It depends on what the specific laws are in Florida, however most states require first-time drivers to receive a learners permit before registering for a driver training course.  We recommend you contact a driving school such as All Roads Safe Driving Training to obtain more information.
